About Nkinga Institute of Health Sciences

Nkinga Institute of Health Sciences was established with an objective of training nurses, midwives, and community health workers with a purpose of:

  1. Improving the quality of health services at community level.
  2. Ensuring that maternal, newborn, and child health services benefit from well-trained personnel.
  3. Improving the quality of nursing and midwifery practice through competent, ethical graduates.

Our campus is developed according to NACTE and TNMC guidelines, with adequate space for students to learn, practise skills, and participate in college life.

Location

  • The institute is located in Igunga, Tabora Region, Tanzania.
  • It serves students and communities across Tabora and neighbouring regions.

The environment is friendly and provides a peaceful setting for learning, study, and professional growth.
